The Service is operated by Matty Michael Hempstead (ABN 82 395 106 001). "SlashCraft" refers to the SlashCraft.ai website and Service, and is not a separate legal entity unless stated otherwise. In these Terms, "SlashCraft," "we," "us," or "our" means Matty Michael Hempstead operating the Service. By using the Service, creating an account, connecting Discord, starting a subscription, or deploying a bot, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. What SlashCraft Does
SlashCraft is an AI-assisted Discord bot builder and hosting platform. Users can describe, generate, configure, publish, host, invite, and manage Discord bots.
SlashCraft hosts bots created through the Service. A bot is considered published when it is generated, hosted, deployed, made available, or usable through SlashCraft, including where an invite link or bot link can be shared with others. SlashCraft provides builder and hosting infrastructure. You are responsible for the bots, prompts, commands, workflows, settings, content, permissions, and behaviour you create, generate, configure, publish, invite, host, or operate through the Service.
2. Accounts and Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use the Service only with permission from a parent or guardian.
You are responsible for your account, login credentials, payment activity, projects, connected Discord applications, bot tokens, and all activity under your account.
You must provide accurate information and must not sell, transfer, share, or misuse your account except as expressly allowed by SlashCraft.
3. Discord and Third-Party Services
SlashCraft is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Discord Inc. Discord is a trademark of Discord Inc.
Your use of Discord, Discord APIs, bot tokens, top.gg, Stripe, AI providers, hosting providers, analytics tools, and other third-party services is subject to those third parties' own terms, policies, and rules.
You are responsible for complying with Discord's Terms of Service, Community Guidelines, Developer Terms of Service, Developer Policy, and any rules that apply to bots, applications, API data, privileged intents, commands, message content, server data, or user data.
If you connect a Discord application, bot token, account, or server to SlashCraft, you confirm that you are authorised to do so. You authorise SlashCraft to access, store, transmit, and use the relevant credentials, configuration, and Discord API data only as needed to provide, host, secure, troubleshoot, bill for, enforce, and improve the Service, and to comply with law or platform rules.
4. User Responsibilities and Acceptable Use
You are responsible for your bots and how they are used. You must choose appropriate permissions, limit data collection, monitor abuse, comply with Discord rules, and provide any privacy notices or permissions required for your own bot or server.
You must not use SlashCraft, or any bot created or hosted through SlashCraft, to:
- break the law, violate Discord's rules, or infringe third-party rights;
- create spam, phishing, scams, malware, raids, credential theft, token theft, self-bots, or unauthorised automation;
- harass, threaten, exploit, impersonate, dox, surveil, or abuse people;
- scrape, sell, profile, or misuse Discord API data or personal information;
- collect sensitive information, payment card data, passwords, government IDs, health data, biometric data, or children's data without express written permission from SlashCraft and a lawful basis;
- bypass security, payment, rate limits, privileged-intent requirements, access controls, app review, or platform restrictions;
- interfere with SlashCraft, Discord, third-party services, or other users;
- use the Service for safety-critical, medical, legal, financial, emergency, or high-risk decision-making;
- resell, sublicense, rent, lease, mirror, scrape, or provide access to the Service except as expressly permitted in writing.
We may suspend, delete, restrict, or terminate accounts, projects, bots, hosting, or access if we believe there is abuse, non-payment, legal risk, security risk, Discord/platform risk, reputational risk, or a breach of these Terms.
5. IP, AI Outputs, and Ownership
"User Inputs" means materials you owned or controlled before submitting them to SlashCraft, such as your brand names, logos, original text, images, uploaded assets, descriptions, and custom instructions.
"Service Materials" means SlashCraft's website, app, software, source code, object code, designs, branding, templates, prompts, system prompts, bot scaffolding, reusable components, examples, libraries, workflows, documentation, data structures, database schemas, analytics, usage insights, operational know-how, security systems, model configurations, and other materials developed, owned, licensed, or controlled by SlashCraft.
"Generated Outputs" means bot code, commands, workflows, documentation, configuration, messages, and other outputs generated through the Service. Generated Outputs do not include User Inputs, Discord API data, Discord user data, bot tokens, credentials, personal information, third-party materials, or open-source materials.
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- you retain ownership of your User Inputs;
- SlashCraft owns and retains all rights in the Service Materials;
- SlashCraft owns and retains any rights it has or obtains in Generated Outputs, except for your User Inputs, third-party materials, and anything the law says SlashCraft cannot own;
- you do not acquire ownership of Service Materials merely because they are included in, used by, or necessary to operate a generated bot;
- if any rights in Service Materials, platform-derived materials, Generated Outputs, feedback, suggestions, or SlashCraft improvements would otherwise vest in you, you assign those rights to SlashCraft. If assignment is not legally effective, you grant SlashCraft a worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, sublicensable, transferable, royalty-free licence to use, copy, modify, commercialise, and otherwise exploit those rights without restriction or compensation.
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, SlashCraft grants you a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, copy, modify, deploy, and commercialise Generated Outputs created for your project through the Service for your own bots, servers, customers, or business purposes. This licence may be revoked if you breach these Terms, fail to pay, misuse the Service, violate Discord rules, violate law, or create legal, security, platform, or abuse risk.
You may not use the Service, Service Materials, Generated Outputs, templates, scaffolding, reusable components, prompts, workflows, or platform-derived materials to build, train, improve, sell, or provide a competing bot builder, bot-generation service, template marketplace, automation platform, or substantially similar service.
SlashCraft may create, use, license, sell, host, or provide similar or identical ideas, features, commands, workflows, code structures, bot logic, templates, or outputs for other users. SlashCraft is not restricted from developing, improving, or commercialising the Service based on general ideas, feedback, usage patterns, know-how, non-confidential information, or platform-derived learnings from operating the Service.
AI systems may produce inaccurate, incomplete, insecure, offensive, infringing, or noncompliant outputs. You are responsible for reviewing, testing, and approving generated bots before deploying them. SlashCraft does not guarantee that Generated Outputs will be unique, secure, lawful, error-free, compliant, or suitable for your intended use.
6. Hosted Bots, Listings, and Marketing
Bots created through SlashCraft are hosted and published through the Service. If you create, generate, publish, host, deploy, invite, submit, list, or make available a bot, project, template, workflow, command, showcase item, review, testimonial, or listing through SlashCraft, you grant SlashCraft a worldwide, perpetual, non-exclusive, sublicensable, transferable, royalty-free licence to host, copy, modify, display, distribute, promote, market, reference, screenshot, record, describe, link to, and otherwise use the bot and related public-facing materials for operating, improving, promoting, and commercialising SlashCraft.
This includes use of bot names, descriptions, icons, invite links, public-facing commands, visible bot behaviour, public-facing project pages, examples, screenshots, recordings, testimonials, reviews, and listings on SlashCraft's website, dashboard, landing pages, social media, ads, emails, documentation, investor materials, sales materials, and other promotional channels.
SlashCraft will not intentionally display your internal prompts, internal configuration, bot tokens, credentials, non-public Discord API data, Discord message content, private logs, account information, billing information, personal information, or hosted bot runtime data in public marketing materials unless you approve that use or the material has already been made public by you.
7. Payments, Subscriptions, Cancellations, and Refunds
Some features require payment. Prices, billing intervals, included features, usage limits, and plan details are shown at checkout or in the Service.
Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel through your account settings, the Stripe billing portal if available, or by contacting matty@slashcraft.ai. Cancellation stops future renewals but does not automatically refund past charges. Unless otherwise stated, access continues until the end of the current billing period.
Except where required by law or expressly approved by SlashCraft in writing, payments are final and non-refundable. SlashCraft does not provide refunds because you changed your mind, stopped using the Service, no longer need the Service, forgot to cancel, selected the wrong plan, did not use all included usage, found an alternative service, or were dissatisfied for reasons not caused by a failure of the Service to meet a non-excludable legal guarantee.
Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any right, remedy, guarantee, or protection you may have under the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable consumer protection law. If the Service fails to meet a consumer guarantee that applies by law, SlashCraft will provide the remedy required by law. Depending on the circumstances, this may include resupply of the Service, correction of the issue, a refund, or another remedy required by law.
AI usage, credits, usage-based fees, add-ons, metered charges, extra hosting usage, and other consumed digital resources are non-refundable once used, except where required by law or expressly approved by SlashCraft in writing.
SlashCraft may, at its sole discretion, offer a refund, partial refund, account credit, or other goodwill remedy. Any goodwill remedy is voluntary and does not create an obligation to provide the same remedy in the future. Goodwill refunds or credits may be denied or reduced if there is excessive usage, abuse, fraud, chargeback activity, violation of these Terms, misuse of the Service, or other unusual circumstances.
To request a refund, contact matty@slashcraft.ai with your account email, payment date, plan, and reason for the request. If approved, refunds will be processed through Stripe and sent to the original payment method where possible.
Please contact us before initiating a chargeback. We may suspend accounts, projects, bots, hosting, or paid features while a chargeback or payment dispute is pending.
We may change pricing, plans, limits, features, or availability. Where required, we will provide notice before changes take effect.
8. Availability, Data, and Termination
The Service is provided on an "as available" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, continued hosting, Discord availability, third-party integrations, AI model availability, or preservation of all data.
We may modify, suspend, discontinue, restrict, or remove any feature, project, bot, integration, plan, or part of the Service at any time.
After termination or deletion, we may delete or retain data as described in the Privacy Policy, including where needed for legal, security, billing, backup, dispute, abuse-prevention, or enforcement purposes.
9. Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer guarantee, right, remedy, liability, or protection that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted, or modified under the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable law.
Subject to those non-excludable rights, SlashCraft excludes all warranties, guarantees, representations, conditions, and liabilities to the maximum extent permitted by law.
10. Disclaimers and Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service and all Generated Outputs are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind.
SlashCraft does not warrant that the Service, bots, Generated Outputs, hosting, integrations, AI features, or third-party services will be accurate, secure, lawful, compliant, uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for your intended purpose. You use the Service and deploy bots at your own risk.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SlashCraft will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, business interruption, reputational harm, or loss of goodwill.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SlashCraft's total liability for all claims relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of: (a) the amount you paid to SlashCraft for the Service in the 12 months before the claim arose; or (b) AUD $100.
11. Indemnity
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless SlashCraft, its owner, contractors, service providers, and affiliates from claims, damages, liabilities, losses, costs, and expenses arising from or relating to your use of the Service, your bots, your User Inputs, your Generated Outputs, your public content, your breach of these Terms, your breach of law, your breach of Discord or third-party rules, or your infringement or misuse of third-party rights.
12. Abuse and Security Reports
SlashCraft is intended for lawful, safe, and policy-compliant Discord bot creation and hosting.
Report abuse, illegal content, security issues, exposed secrets, token theft, scams, phishing, malware, spam, raids, harassment, privacy violations, copyright issues, or other policy violations to matty@slashcraft.ai.
Please include relevant details where possible, such as bot name, bot ID, application ID, server/guild ID, channel ID, message links, project URL, screenshots, logs, timestamps, and a clear description of the issue.
We may investigate reports and take action at our discretion, including removing content, disabling projects, suspending bots, terminating accounts, preserving evidence, contacting users, contacting Discord, or reporting to law enforcement.
For urgent threats to life, safety, or property, contact local law enforcement or emergency services first.
13. Bot Owner Notice
Bots built with SlashCraft are hosted and published through SlashCraft, but they may be operated by independent users, developers, server owners, or customers. SlashCraft provides builder and hosting infrastructure, but the bot owner is responsible for the bot's configuration, permissions, commands, behaviour, end-user notices, and legal compliance unless SlashCraft expressly states otherwise.
14. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted with a new "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after the updated Terms take effect means you accept the updated Terms, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
15. Governing Law and Contact
These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or the Service will be resolved in the courts located in New South Wales, Australia, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
Questions about these Terms may be sent to matty@slashcraft.ai.
